Becoming an iSMART Member
There are no particular requirements for becoming an iSMART member, though we are most tailored to support the BBA-MIS and MSCBA degrees through Anderson School of Management.
The best way to get involved with iSMART is to subscribe to our list-serv for announcements, job opportunities, and upcoming meeting reminders. Additionally, attending meetings regularly will help you to network with industry professionals and to build out your skills. We even have alumni return as speakers!
Becoming an Officer
Graduation is a time of celebration and a time of new beginnings. Those looking to occupy an officer position will be notified of the graduation of current officers and opening positions via listserv. From there, we will gather a pool of applicants and cast a ballot by which members may vote on the candidate(s). Ideally, officers will be chosen from a pool of regular attendees and be willing to dedicate ~2 hours a week to their duties.
